Dancehall star Shatta Wale has issued a public apology to Ghanaian hypeman and MC Kojo Manuel following an onstage incident at Tidal Rave 2025.
A video from the event, held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, shows Shatta Wale’s Personal Assistant, Abonko, forcing Kojo Manuel to get off the stage shortly after introducing the dancehall star.
The video has since sparked conversations across social media, with some fans questioning the circumstances behind the incident. In a post on X, Shatta Wale addressed the situation. “Kojo Manuel, so sorryyy … Abonko is the nicest person ever, but when it comes to my work he is my second-in-command. Sorry, he pushed you, but next time just know it when an artiste and their team step on stage” he stated, adding that his intention was not to disrespect the hypeman but to protect the structure of the performance.
The 2025 Tidal Rave featured electrifying performances from Ayra Starr, Black Sherif, Olivetheboy, Gyakie, and more. Shatta Wale appeared as the night’s surprise Wildcard performer, delivering a series of hits and keeping the energy high.
