The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has predicted that rain of varying intensities is expected over most areas in southern Ghana today, Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
GMet in its weather update said the rainstorm is expected to induce cloudiness while producing thunderstorms.
GMet said a separate weak storm currently situated in the Gulf of Guinea is also anticipated to produce rains over the coastal sector and inland areas.
The Agency cautioned that moderate to strong winds are expected to accompany the rainstorm while flooding may occur over low-lying areas.
