IPR Ghana to host 2025 National Public Relations Summit in Takoradi

The Institute of Public Relations (IPR), Ghana, has announced that its 2025 National Public Relations Summit will be held from 13th to 15th November 2025 at the Western Serene Atlantic Hotel, Takoradi.

The summit will be under the theme “Reimagining Public Relations in a Contemporary World.”

The National PR Summit is the Institute’s flagship annual gathering that brings together public relations and communication professionals from across Ghana.

The event serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, professional development, and the celebration of excellence in the field.

Key Highlights of the 2025 Summit
1. Conference Thursday, 13th November 2025
The summit will open with a thought-provoking conference exploring emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the public relations and communications landscape in Ghana and beyond.

2. Annual General Meeting (AGM) Friday, 14th November 2025
Members of IPR Ghana will convene to review the Institute’s progress, deliberate on key policy matters, and set strategic priorities for the year ahead.

3. Induction Ceremony Friday, 14th November 2025
A formal ceremony will be held to induct newly qualified members who have successfully completed various stages of the IPR Ghana Accreditation Programme.

4. Legends Night Friday, 14th November 2025

This mentorship and networking event will celebrate distinguished senior practitioners and provide an avenue for knowledge sharing between generations of PR professionals.

This year, Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah will be honored as the Legend of the Night for his immense contributions to communication and public service.

5. Excellence Awards Night Friday, 14th November 2025

The grand finale of the summit will celebrate outstanding achievements, innovation, and ethical leadership in public relations practice.

Nana Kobina Nketsia, Paramount Chief of the Esikado Traditional Area, will grace the occasion as Special Guest of Honour.

A Call to Reflection and Renewal

Speaking ahead of the event, Ms. Esther A. N. Cobbah, FIPR, President of IPR Ghana, underscored the importance of the Summit as more than just a professional gathering.

“The National PR Summit is a moment of reflection, renewal, and rededication to the values that define our profession. As communicators, we must continue to innovate and lead with integrity, ensuring that our work strengthens connection, understanding, and progress in society,” she said.
