The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has officially unveiled the 2025 edition of its annual Top 4 tournament, setting the stage for a high-octane pre-season contest among the nation’s top-performing clubs.

The launch ceremony, streamed live on GHOne TV and EIB Network, was held in Accra after organisers shifted the event from the Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium due to ongoing renovations. The event drew club representatives, GHALCA executives, and football stakeholders, creating a charged atmosphere ahead of the competition.
Originally scheduled for Kumasi from August 20 to 24, 2025, the tournament will now take place at the Accra Sports Stadium. GHALCA Chairman John Ansah explained that structural delays at Baba Yara rendered the venue unsuitable.

This year’s competition will feature last season’s top four finishers — Bibiani Gold Stars, Asante Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, and Heart of Lions.
All matches will be broadcast live on GHOne TV, Agoo TV, and other partner platforms, with organisers promising intense rivalries, breakout performances, and a fitting prelude to the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
