The Minister of Finance, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, has thanked the Government and people of Germany for their steadfast partnership and confidence in Ghana’s future.

This was after he signed Ghana’s bilateral debt agreement with the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by Ambassador Frederik Landshöft, on Monday, November 10.
This is the sixth agreement under the ongoing debt restructuring programme.
The Finance Minister said it marked yet another important milestone in Ghana’s economic recovery journey.
The agreement strengthens the foundations of fiscal stability and anchors Ghana’s long-term progress as a nation committed to restoring growth and resilience, Dr Ato Forson further stated.
“I extend my sincere appreciation to the Government and people of Germany for their steadfast partnership and confidence in Ghana’s future,” he said.
Together, he added, “we are building a stronger and more sustainable economy, one step at a time.”
