The campaign for the release of Evangelist Patricia Oduro Koranteng, Agradaa, has taken a dramatic turn. After social media activistAfia Schwarzenegger warned that she would reveal “secrets” of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) if its leader, President John Mahama , fails to free Agradaa.

Afia, who has been leading the #FreeNanaAgradaa movement online, first made headlines days ago when she held a passionate prayer session on TikTok. During the broadcast, she urged her followers to spread the hashtag across social media to draw attention to Agradaa’s detention. Despite the campaign, Agradaa remains in custody.
Frustrated by the lack of progress, Afia escalated her rhetoric, directly addressing Mahama. “Mahama should release Nana Agradaa or I will release their secrets ,” she declared in a video now circulating on social media.
The warning adds political tension to an already controversial case. Supporters describe Agraadaa as a transformed woman of God, while critics remain skeptical of her ministry and past practices.
Meanwhile, observers have pointed out that Mahama’s leadership has previously overseen reforms aimed at improving prison conditions. Notably, the daily feeding fee for prisoners was increased from just ₵1.80 pesewas to ₵5.00 cedis, a move seen as a step toward humane treatment in Ghana’s correctional facilities.
As of the time of writing, neither John Mahama nor the NDC has issued an official response to Afaia’s warning. Agradaa’s family and legal team have also remained silent on the matter.
The #FreeNanaAgradaa campaign continues to trend online, as Ghanaians watch closely to see whether Afia will follow through on her threat, or if the NDC will respond before the controversy deepens further.
