A viral video from Davido and Chioma’s white wedding in Miami has sparked controversy after it appeared to show Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy bending down during his performance.
Some social media users alleged the artiste was picking up money sprayed on Davido, with critics suggesting he stooped to collect cash meant for the Nigerian singer.
However, Dr. Louisa, wife of the Bhim Nation president, has dismissed the claims, clarifying that Stonebwoy was retrieving his jewellery.
“It’s so crazy how some people think. You can clearly see his diamond bracelet fall off, and he bends to pick it up, but because of evil and mischief, you choose to believe he picked $1??? Some people’s mindset really explains a lot about who they really are..smh,” she wrote on X on August 13, 2025.
Her statement comes a day after Ghanaian socialite Efia Odo also defended the musician. On August 12, she described the trolling as baseless and malicious.
“He literally picked up his bracelet that came off his wrist! Bibini dierr,” Efia Odo wrote.
The video remains a trending topic online, with supporters and critics continuing to debate the incident.
